STOP NICKELBACK HATE!!!
Enough is enough.
For too long, one Canadian rock band has been subjected to a level of ridicule wildly disproportionate to the actual crime of writing several extremely successful radio songs.
We are not asking you to love Nickelback. We are not even asking you to admit that "How You Remind Me" is a very well-written song.
We are simply asking you to consider whether four men from Alberta really deserved to become the Internet's universal shorthand for everything wrong with music.
STOP NICKELBACK HATE exists to promote tolerance, understanding, fairness and a basic recognition that maybe everyone got a little carried away.
Nickelback have sold millions of albums worldwide. This means that statistically, many of the people making Nickelback jokes also bought Nickelback albums.
THINK ABOUT THAT.
I pledge to judge Nickelback on the quality of their music rather than on a joke I first heard sometime around 2006.
